Two sisters launch social media appeal to save their mother with acute leukemia

Originally from Bidart in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region, Julie and Laura Descamps launched an appeal for bone marrow donations to help their 58-year-old mother, Jackie, who suffers from acute leukemia. No one in the family or even in the global registry is a match. The video, posted on social media, has been shared and viewed more than two million times.
