Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy. Moral harassment at the Saint-André clinic: nine nurses accuse a surgeon

The case could be symbolic, even symptomatic, of the working relationships between doctors and nurses in operating rooms. It is known that some practitioners, boasting of their knowledge, the importance of their work, and their varying degrees of talent, do not always behave appropriately when addressing the rest of the staff. A surgeon at the Saint-André clinic in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy reportedly crossed the line into moral harassment.
In a sign of an era of greater freedom of speech, operating room nurses have broken the code of silence to complain to management. Nine of them have said stop. Some are very young. Others are very experienced and have worked with the doctor for a good twenty years.
