Zac Brown Shares Secret to Kendra Scott Relationship

Zac Brown is sharing what makes his relationship with Kendra Scott sparkle.
Less than two months after making their relationship public at the 2025 American Music Awards, the couple announced July 24 that the country singer put a ring on the jewelry designer. And they’re certainly ready to take their whirlwind romance to the next level. After all, Zac shared that when they met, he knew it was meant to be.
“Finding someone I’m so like-minded with and share and align in such a way, it’s such an incredible thing,” the 46-year-old told Us Weekly. “It’s totally different than anything I’ve ever had before.”
And Kendra, 51, seems to be just as thrilled as they look ahead to their future together.
"We are so happy and grateful," the pair told People following Zac's proposal, “that we found each other.”
And while the Zac Brown Band frontman found the one he wants to spend his life with, he was a little less sure about finding the ideal ring.
As he quipped to The Today Show on July 25, "What are you gonna get somebody that designs jewelry?"
But regardless of the pressure, Zac was able to pull off the perfect proposal, saying, “I feel great, I got her good."
And the intimate moment was merely a reflection of their “incredible” relationship, which brings together their blended families as Kendra is mom to sons Cade, 23, and Beck, 21 with ex-husband John Scott as well as Grey, 11, with ex-husband Matt Davis, and Zac is dad to Justice, 18, Lucy, 17, Georgia, 16, Joni, 14, and Alexander, 11, with ex-wife Shelly Brown.
“We’re so happy we found each other," the “Chicken Fried” singer added. "We're blessed."
Since their hard launch at the AMAs, the pair has been open about how happy they are together.
“Hit the @amas red carpet with the best date by my side,” Zac wrote on Instagram after the event on May 26, sharing sweet red carpet photos. “Ready to soak it all in and have some fun tonight!”
Kendra also shared moments from their night together, from getting ready to the limo to the carpet.
“What an unforgettable night,” she wrote on Instagram. “We danced, we laughed, and seeing Zac honored with the inaugural Veteran’s Voice Award was the highlight of it all.”
The Shark Tank guest shark concluded in a message to Zac, “I’m so incredibly proud of you—of your heart, your service, and the man you are, You couldn’t deserve this more.”
