Between defeat and desertion, Macronist deputies are out of breath before the summer break

Parliamentary proceedings conclude this Friday, amidst strong divisions between Macronist and "republican" ministers and elected officials. In the minority, the Common Core deputies are deserting the Assembly benches.
The Macronists no longer have the upper hand and can no longer even count on their lifeline, "Les Républicains" (LR). At the end of this parliamentary session, they are complaining about it. Several episodes bear witness to this. Gabriel Attal, head of Renaissance, denounced on June 23 the fact that "an anti-ecological axis had formed in the Assembly and systematically voted against anything that allows us to work towards the ecological transition."
