Former PACA prefect Christophe Mirmand will take the oath of office this Monday morning before Prince Albert II

Eighteen days after announcing his appointment as Minister of State of Monaco, Christophe Mirmand will take up his duties this Monday morning in the Principality.
At 11:30 a.m., in the Hall of Mirrors of the Prince's Palace, the former chief of staff of the Minister of Overseas Territories (Manuel Valls) will take the oath of office before Prince Albert II.
In a recent interview with Monaco-Matin , the Sovereign explained that he had chosen this prefect profile – he has been in the Alpes-Maritimes, Corsica and, more recently, in the PACA region – to "bring back serenity" . "Mr. Mirmand has a very good ability to bring people together. He is an excellent listener. This is important for bringing together different points of view. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated this valuable ability to arbitrate in quite complex and difficult situations. He is someone who knows how to be firm, without his speech being too rigid," he told us.
The roadmap is vast: getting off the grey lists, including the FATF list; continuing the energy transition and budgetary rigor; renaturing the city; improving mobility; strengthening security...
Moreover, this Monday afternoon, Christophe Mirmand will visit the Monegasque police and firefighters.
