Jean-Luc Mélenchon calls for Bayrou's censorship and supports the September 10 blocking movement

Jean-Luc Mélenchon and several LFI officials called this Saturday, August 16, for the censorship of Prime Minister François Bayrou , and gave their support to the call to "block everything" on September 10 launched by Internet users, in a text published in La Tribune Dimanche .
"We call for a determined offensive to bring down this government. On the ground through all-out popular mobilization and in Parliament through an immediate motion of censure," wrote Jean-Luc Mélenchon, believing that "the two must go hand in hand, because doing one without the other is futile or uncertain."
"We will not let this happen," insists the leader of the Insoumis, who demands "that the National Assembly be convened as soon as possible in extraordinary session."
"Current events demand it. We will immediately submit a motion of censure to bring down the government," warn the signatories of the platform, including the leader of the LFI deputies, Mathilde Panot , and the party coordinator, Manuel Bompard, according to whom "this government is incapable of listening to reason" and "is preparing for the start of the school year with a devastating budget project."
"François Bayrou and his government must be dismissed immediately," they write. The leaders of La France Insoumise have also "decided to support the popular initiative of September 10."
Calls from various quarters to "shut down everything" in the country on that date are multiplying on social media, centering around the budget cuts sought by François Bayrou. Whether they will materialize on the streets remains unknown.
On many accounts already established or specially created, the messages of this gaseous movement can mention the citizens' initiative referendum, demand wage increases and pensions or call for "resistance", voluntary confinement or a general strike.
"We ask all those who share our principles and our desire to act to put an end to the Bayrou government to immediately put themselves at the service of the local groups proposing this mobilization and to do everything possible to ensure its success," encourage the Insoumis.
