The Sarreguemines Jump cavalry has the good life. The thirty or so horses and ponies enjoy the pastures all summer long. Water, salt, and hay (almost) at will. Just to keep them happy. They have no idea of the turmoil that has surrounded the Sarreguemines Jump in recent months. The equestrian club is indeed facing serious financial difficulties. Last year, the City came to the rescue of the riding club, granting an exceptional grant of €15,000 . This windfall, however, was not enough to completely turn things around . At the end of June, the association therefore filed for receivership. "This procedure allowed us to put our old debts on hold and regularize two months of unpaid wages," explains Lucile Roth, who chairs the association. Now comes the time for reorganization.
