Alexandra Masson's name joins Louis Sarkozy's on the list of registered voters in Menton!
The National Rally MP's request was approved by the town hall. Like the son of the former President of the Republic, whose registration was announced on Monday, she will now vote in the central town of her constituency, the 4th largest in the Alpes-Maritimes.
The MP, re-elected in the first round in 2024, makes no secret of her ambitions for the municipal elections. She already announced in March that she would run for mayor in 2026, without specifying where or when she would declare her candidacy. The law does not require MPs to live in the territory they represent in the House. But to be mayor, one must have a proven connection to the municipality.
