Politics: The National Rally will return to Bordeaux

By organizing a meeting in mid-September in Bordeaux, the RN intends to make the Atlantic coast a land of conquest
The National Rally will have a Bordeaux feel to it this fall. Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella's party will make its political debut at the Bordeaux-Lac convention center. From September 12th to 14th, elected officials and activists will gather for roundtable discussions and other training sessions. The closing meeting will be held on Sunday afternoon.
"By coming to Bordeaux, our party is affirming its desire to make the Atlantic coast a new land of conquest," explains Edwige Diaz, MP for the 11th constituency of Gironde (Blayais, in the north of the department) and vice-president of the party. Well established throughout France, the RN is historically less so in the west.
"This meeting will also mark our launch into the March 2026 municipal elections," the elected official added. After its strong showing in the last European and legislative elections, the RN has high ambitions for this upcoming election. "We will make progress," she assures.
