Saint-André-de-Corcy. During the summer, work continues non-stop in the town.

The construction of the new school cafeteria and after-school program remains the most spectacular project. A project that, when completed, will improve the living conditions of both students and staff. This impressive building, constructed with rammed earth walls, also benefits from straw roof insulation, covered with tiles on the after-school side, which will guarantee quality thermal insulation. The window frames are currently being installed. Thus, the building will be watertight and airtight by the end of July.
All the interior work will then need to be completed. Completion of this first phase of work is scheduled for the end of 2025. The connection to the school will still need to be completed at the beginning of next year. According to the mayor, the building was due to move in "in March 2026 or next spring at the latest."
The project involves expanding the multi-sports hall. This extension, for the basketball club, will replace the existing modular buildings. The structural work will be completed by the end of July. The facility will then be handed over to the club, which will be responsible for its development.
The foundations for the construction of a kiln have just been completed. All that remains for the Le Gueulard de Saco association is to find the necessary funds to purchase and install the kiln. This association will be responsible for managing the installation.
Connection work is underway in the Saint-André-de-Corcy industrial zone. Pipe laying toward Saint-Marcel is progressing through the fields. There are approximately 400 meters left before reaching the Saint-Marcel wastewater treatment plant. Work will then be required at the Saint-André plant to complete this connection.
