Thionville: €583,500 in subsidies for sports clubs and projects: an absentee causes controversy

The city supports around thirty clubs and backs several sports projects. The allocation of €583,500 in subsidies has just been approved for 2025. A skateboarding association isn't on the list, but it made headlines at the last city council meeting.

The US Thionville Lusitanos football club comes in first . The municipality is allocating a subsidy of €150,000 in 2025. It is granting €50,000 for the tennis club (TCT), €20,500 for Escalade Evasion, €15,000 for the rugby club (Tygre), €9,000 for the Judo club, and €1,800 for the Chess Club.
