Domestic violence in Jesi: man attacks pregnant wife and runs away

Yesterday afternoon, the tranquility of the town of Jesi was interrupted by a serious episode of domestic violence. A young woman, about 20 years old and a few months pregnant, showed up at the emergency room of the Carlo Urbani hospital with evident signs of aggression on her face.

The bruises and his state of anxiety immediately alerted the medical staff, who activated the red code for home protection.

Intervention by the Carabinieri

Alerted by the critical situation, the Carabinieri intervened at the young woman's home. However, the attacker, a 25-year-old man, attempted to escape. During his escape, he climbed over a gate, but the maneuver proved fatal: he fell from a height of five meters, suffering multiple trauma and remaining stunned. The timely intervention of the 118 paramedics allowed him to be stabilized and transported to the hospital in red code, where he was diagnosed with a head trauma and several bruises.

The young woman, after receiving first aid, was discharged from the hospital. Her situation, although critical, was carefully managed by doctors, who ensured the necessary support. This episode of domestic violence has raised concerns in the local community, highlighting the need for greater attention and prevention against such acts. The authorities are now investigating the incident, trying to shed light on the dynamics of the attack and on any measures to be taken to protect victims of domestic violence.
