Francesco Ippolito joins the youth board of the Italian Tunneling Society: the Foggia-born engineer is among the key figures in major projects.

Foggia-born engineer Francesco Ippolito has been appointed to the board of Young Members of the Italian Tunneling Society , a leading national technical-scientific body for the underground works sector.

The appointment, made official today, represents a significant milestone for Ippolito, who in recent years has gained significant experience on strategic construction sites along the Naples-Bari high-speed line , particularly on the Bovino-Orsara and Hirpinia-Orsara terminal lots. Here, he faced the complex challenges of mechanized excavation using TBMs (the so-called “moles”), one of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the panorama of large-scale infrastructure projects.
