Good human relationships make us feel good: 12 tips for feeling alive.

Authentic relationships improve everyone's lives: they foster new ideas , support business growth , reduce the risk of illness , and strengthen the physical and mental well-being. This is the message promoted by the Relazionésimo Ets Foundation, along with the proposal to launch #HumanRelationshipDay every September 17th. The initiative paves the way for RelazionExpo 2025 , scheduled in Verona from October 23rd to 26th, a trade fair entirely dedicated to human relationships.
#HumanRelationshipDay, to celebrate bondsThe establishment of #HumanRelationshipDay , proposed by the Fondazione Relazionésimo ETS, aims to highlight the positive impact of good relationships on quality of life. Psychologist Ugo Morelli, a member of the scientific committee, emphasizes that "it is from relationships that the horizon of possibility arises." The goal is to raise public awareness of the importance of authentic connections and their role in building inclusive and resilient communities.
Expo 2025 Report in Verona
From October 23rd to 26th, the Verona Fair will host the second edition of RelazionExpo (relazionexpo.com). The event will bring together businesses, academics, experts, and the public in a discussion that intertwines economics, art, and beauty. Five thematic panels are planned: housing, food, lifestyle, innovation, and sustainability . The goal is to inspire the business world to embrace a new era of relationships, capable of combining productivity and well-being.
Relationships, well-being and productivityInternational studies confirm the value of human connections. The Harvard Study of Adult Development , conducted since 1938, shows that those in stable relationships experience lower stress levels, enjoy better physical and mental health , and live longer. The Harvard Business Review also found that leaders who value relationships with employees foster positive work environments , increase productivity, and strengthen employee loyalty. According to the Work Institute, companies that prioritize relationships reduce turnover costs by retaining talent.
New scientific evidenceA recent study published in Nature Human Behaviour , conducted by the Universities of Cambridge and Fudan on over 42,000 adults from the UK Biobank database, showed how social isolation and loneliness are associated with poorer health. Researchers identified 175 proteins linked to isolation and 26 to loneliness , many of which are linked to cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and early death . Social relationships, on the other hand, strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of serious diseases.
