Pension Reform 2025/ The requirement is already sufficient according to Spi-Cgil (latest news, July 31)

Pension reform 2025: considerations from the CGIL regarding retirement eligibility requirements.
PENSION REFORM 2025: SPI-CGIL'S DEMANDSAt a time when pension reforms are beginning to be discussed in the next Budget Law , and rumors are emerging from abroad about the possibility of raising the retirement age in other countries, the Spi-CGIL reiterates that the current requirement of 67 is sufficient and should not be touched, while still allowing those who wish to continue working beyond that age. The Italian Pensioners' Union also calls for greater purchasing power for pensions, and this can only be achieved through a change to the system for adjusting pension amounts for inflation, which has faced significant limitations in the past.
Remaining within the CGIL, there is also some concern about the inflationary effects that tariffs and the uncertain international environment could have on pensions, despite the formal mechanism for adjusting pension amounts to the price index. In this regard, there have long been calls for adopting a reference basket more closely aligned with pensioners' consumption, which is undoubtedly different from that of other segments of the population. Meanwhile, Avvenire reports data on INPS ministers of religion who reached retirement age last year: 379 are registered with the Clergy Fund, which does not only concern Catholic priests. The fund also includes non-Catholic ministers.
