The two pickpockets at the Central Station have been arrested

The two pickpockets at the Central Station have been arrested

First they stole the backpack with all the personal effects of a traveler, then they were arrested. Two men aged 25 and 26, both Algerian citizens and already known to the police, were arrested by the police at the Central Station in Milan after stealing a passenger's luggage on Friday, February 21.

The Milan railway police officers, engaged in an anti-pickpocketing operation at the Milanese station, noticed the two as they approached a boy sitting having a meal in a restaurant in the station and, without being noticed, stole his backpack, which was resting on the chair next to him.

The scene did not escape the attention of the police officers who intervened and stopped the two. Both were arrested on charges of aggravated theft in competition. During the investigations it emerged that the 25-year-old had committed the same crime at the beginning of February at the Milan Malpensa airport.
