Train strike on July 7 and 8: protest times and guaranteed time slots

(Adnkronos) – Train strike on 7 and 8 July 2025. The stoppage, which will involve the staff of Trenitalia, Trenord and other railway transport companies, will begin at 9 pm on Monday 7 until 6 pm on Tuesday 8. The FS group communicates this in a note, underlining that there may be cancellations or variations. The regular circulation of long-distance trains, regional trains and some airport connections are at risk.

For regional transport, essential services are guaranteed in the event of a strike on weekdays from 6:00 to 9:00.

Industrial unrest may lead to changes to the service before it begins and after it ends.

Passengers who intend to cancel their trip can request a refund starting from the strike declaration:

– up to the departure time of the booked train, for Intercity and Frecce trains;

– until midnight on the day before the strike itself, for regional trains;

Alternatively, they may reschedule their journey, under similar transport conditions, as soon as possible, subject to seat availability.
