Triumph continues to grow: +64% for global sales in 2024

In recent years, Triumph Motorcycles has been the protagonist of a notable rise at an international level, gaining more and more followers in Europe and North America, its traditional hunting grounds, but also in Latin America and in the always crucial Asian markets. After having released the data relating to its important growth in Italy in 2024 , certified by a +22% in terms of registrations compared to 2023, the British manufacturer has officially communicated its results also at a global level, reeling off even more flattering numbers. Last year, Triumph sold 134,635 motorcycles worldwide, exceeding the threshold of 100 thousand units for the first time in its very long history and thus reporting an impressive +64% compared to the previous 12 months.
Thanks to this remarkable result, Triumph was thus able to celebrate the fifth consecutive year of growth in absolute terms: in this period, therefore from 2019 to 2024, the increase in global sales of the British brand was as much as 123% with particularly significant results in Brazil, Japan, Turkey, Poland, Mexico, India and Italy , countries where its sales more than doubled. Inevitably, this rise was accompanied and favored by the expansion of its distribution network, which today counts 950 dealerships worldwide and with 230 new commercial partners since 2019. The Hinckley company also communicated an increase in revenues from the spare parts, clothing and accessories sector thanks to the expansion of the after-sales services package, the arrival of its range of Triumph Performance Lubricants and the new partnerships signed with clothing and accessories manufacturers.
The robust growth recorded by Triumph in the last five years is also reflected in an increasingly solid reputation at international level, an aspect to which the quality of existing models, the frequency with which new ones are launched and the determination with which the brand has ventured into previously unexplored segments have certainly contributed. A shining example of this are the medium-small displacement motorcycles, under 500 cc, which the English company entered for the first time last year with the single-cylinder Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X , and the motocross bikes, with the trailblazer Tf 250-x which will soon be joined by the already announced Tf 450-Rc . These firsts, however, complement an already fairly comprehensive range of models which has recently seen the addition of the mid-size sports Daytona 660 , the mammoth Rocket 3 Storm , the tireless Tiger 1200 and 900 and the aggressive Scrambler 1200. And to confirm the brand's dynamism, the brand new Speed Twin 1200 Rs and Tiger Sport 800 are already ready for launch in 2025, in addition to new incarnations of great classics such as the Speed Triple 1200 Rs and Speed Twin 900 .
The great result of Triumph Motorcycles in terms of global sales is therefore the result of a combination of various factors, including innovative products, targeted investments in the sales network, successful industrial strategies such as the partnership with the Indian company Bajaj and also an ever-increasing commitment to motorsports. Among the main architects of its now well-known rebirth is undoubtedly CEO Nick Bloor , at the helm of the company since 2011 and naturally delighted by the results just announced: " Triumph 's growth in 2024 is an extraordinary result - he commented in a note - which repays the enormous efforts made by all our employees and our commercial partners. Each of us should be very proud of our role, which contributes every day to the development of Triumph around the world and to the achievement of ever new sales records".
