Who's coming and going: Ischia Calcio and Real Forio's transfer market moves

Island football continues unabated: the new season has officially begun, and the two most important clubs in the region are preparing for a year full of challenges and ambitions in their respective leagues. Ischia Calcio, after quickly completing all the necessary bureaucratic procedures, has registered for the Serie D championship for the third consecutive year, confirming its stability and its desire to uphold the island's reputation in national amateur football. Meanwhile, Real Forio is preparing for a busy July, with both confirmed and new additions, ahead of a tournament of excellence that promises to be highly competitive.

For Ischia, the season is already well underway: the club has officially announced the hiring of Alessio Martino as coach. At the same time, work is underway to assemble the squad, which must ensure a comfortable survival without worries. At the Gialloblu headquarters, while anxiously awaiting the final round of competition, attention is focused on completing the squad and coaching staff, essential for properly preparing for the training camp in Subiaco, which will be a key moment in building a solid and cohesive group. To date, nine players have already been confirmed by the club, led with determination by Pino Taglialatela, but there are signs of activity on the transfer market. Further arrivals are expected in the coming days, with the goal of providing Martino with as complete a squad as possible ahead of the club's official debut in the Coppa Italia, scheduled for the end of August.

At Real Forio, the organizational structure is equally active and ambitious. President Luigi Amato has chosen to focus on continuity, confirming the entire management and coaching staff, with Carlo Sanchez ready to lead the team for another season. However, the green-and-white club has not been idle on the transfer market: with key confirmations and new signings, Real Forio intends to approach the championship confident it can consistently compete at the top of the table. Owner Amato has repeatedly reiterated his intention to leave nothing to chance, and the transfer market operations appear to be following this path. Specifically, after strengthening an already strong offensive line, featuring players such as Yeboah, Castagna, and Serrano, the club is awaiting the close of the Serie D transfer window to complete the attack with a strong center forward capable of making the difference and bringing greater balance to the team.

Meanwhile, there's an important confirmation on the green-and-white front: midfielder Giovan Giuseppe Arcamone, who previously wore the Ischia jersey with great character and skill, will continue his adventure at Real Forio. The news was made official by the club itself with a brief but clear statement, highlighting the player's qualities: "Geometry, grit, pace, and much more. The Mastiff will be snarling at Calise for the third consecutive season." A definitive farewell to the past, therefore, for Arcamone, who has chosen continuity and faith in the Forio project.

On the outgoing front, however, there has been considerable movement: Mario Sogliuzzo, Andrea Di Meglio, and Francesco Iacono are ready to leave the team, with possible destinations yet to be determined, but they could represent new motivation and projects for the players. Meanwhile, the Manna-Pisani duo is working hard to strengthen the youth team, considered strategic for the club's future. In addition to Luciano Iaccarino's permanence, among the most interesting additions are three youngsters born in 2007, ready to make the leap to the senior ranks: Rayan Galaoui, arriving from Barano, Samuel Calise, arriving from Lacco Ameno, and goalkeeper Marco Delizia. These additions are a concrete sign of the Turkish club's willingness to invest in local talent, aiming to build a squad that combines experience and freshness.

In short, the island's football summer promises to be full of anticipation and excitement. On the one hand, Ischia Calcio is preparing to confirm its stable presence in Serie D, aiming for a balanced mix of established players and new arrivals. On the other, Real Forio intends to continue growing and competing ambitiously in the Eccellenza league, thanks to a strong squad enriched with quality and experience. It will be a season to watch closely, as the island's two main teams will strive to bring pride and satisfaction to their fans, ready to cheer on the colors of a land where football never stops.
