Work, inclusion projects for 600 people (more than 50% young people)

During 2024, 600 people were met for work inclusion projects, 500 hours of Empowerment lab ( life skills development courses) were delivered throughout the country, an 85% completion rate (the percentage of people who completed the course) of the training courses, 45% placement of beneficiaries (the level of satisfaction) who completed the Empowerment lab courses, more than 50% of people belonging to Generation Z (people born between the mid-nineties and the early 2010s) were among the beneficiaries, with a particular focus on NEETs (a term which stands for “Not in education, employment or training”).
These are some numbers from the 2024 Social Balance Sheet (downloadable below, ed. ) of the Human Age Institute Foundation , the corporate foundation of Manpowergroup dedicated to the work inclusion of people in socioeconomic disadvantage,

The document, the foundation notes, testifies to a year of significant growth and consolidation of the foundation's leadership role in the Italian social innovation landscape.
"These numbers represent transformed lives and concrete opportunities created thanks to a systemic approach that puts the person at the center," explains Anna Gionfriddo , president of the Human Age Institute Foundation and CEO of Manpowergroup Italia. "The recognition as a Third Sector organization, obtained in March 2024, is not just a formal achievement, but confirmation of the solidity of the path undertaken 10 years ago."
The foundation's success is based on a distinctive methodology that combines Empowerment lab and Awareness journey (raising awareness among companies), creating a virtuous ecosystem of inclusion .
The foundation's Empowerment Labs are based on soft & life skills training, which is crucial for accessing the world of work, especially for those experiencing hardship. This training is combined with basic digital training, an enabling lever and the primary key to accessing the world of work. In an ever-evolving context, digital skills are essential to ensuring equal opportunities.
"Our strength," adds Stefania Grea , the foundation's general secretary (photo below, ed. ), "lies in our data-informed approach that prioritizes quality placement . We don't just place people in the workforce, but we build sustainable paths that generate value for all stakeholders involved."

2024 marked the consolidation of strategic partnerships with key third sector stakeholders . The foundation also received prestigious awards, including the Regenerative Leader 2024 award presented to Anna Gionfriddo and, for the third consecutive year, the UNHCR Wewelcome recognition for its contribution to promoting the employment and social inclusion of refugees in Italy. Several companies supported by the foundation in the inclusion of refugees also received the same recognition.

The 2025 strategy focuses on digital sustainability as the key to addressing the challenges of the evolving labor market. "Our foundation," Anna Gionfriddo explains, "translates Manpowergroup's global commitment to digital training into concrete local actions, preparing the most vulnerable for the professions of the future."
