Filming is underway in Corridonia: Pannofino is also among the cast of Riccioni's new film.

Corridonia (Macerata), August 8, 2025 – For one afternoon, Villa Fermani in Corridonia was transformed into a veritable film set for the filming of "Quel che resta di noi," directed by Simone Riccioni . This isn't the 36-year-old Corridonia native's first time directing; he previously directed the successful film "Neve," in which he played the lead role alongside the very young Azzurra Lo Pipero.

Again, the scenes were filmed in villages around Macerata: the main location was Treia, with additional shots in Macerata and the hinterland between Sefro and Sarnano. Thus, cameras, scripts, and actors brought the green lung of Corridonia to life. "It will be an ensemble film ," explains Simone Riccioni, "with seven protagonists and a guest star, Francesco Pannofino , an exceptional voice actor best known for his role as René Ferretti in the TV series Boris. The six protagonists, along with me, are all students at my acting school 'Cinema che Passione,' so I'm continuing with the idea of training our own talents rather than looking for outside talent. Furthermore, the crew is entirely from the Marche region , with the addition of a close friend of mine from Turin who is in charge of the costumes. This will be a collaborative effort, directed by Emilio Mercanti of Civitanova, who recently made a short film called 'Tic Tac,' which won awards around the world, and in which I also starred."

The "action, action!" work began over a week ago and will conclude on August 15th . It has now reached the picturesque park of the mid-19th-century villa donated to the city by the benefactor and former mayor of Pausula, David Fermani.

The cast, starring alongside Riccioni, includes Anita Lanciotti, Linda Campana, Letizia Trivelli, Riccardo Andreucci, Lorenzo Miccini, and Giovanni Lambertucci. "It all starts with a social media post that says there's a haunted house ," says Riccioni. "So it's a mystery comedy for everyone, where there's a mysterious part that then turns into comedy, and there's no shortage of twists . When I lived in Corridonia, as a child I used to run around Villa Fermani, so it's a place close to my heart, so I continue to choose locations in the area. Other exterior scenes will also be shot in San Ginesio , while the rest will be set inside a house."
