Momi Maiga, African harpist singer, arrives

He is one of the most original voices in the new generation of West African musicians. Over the years, he has developed a distinctive style that blends Mande tradition with jazz, flamenco, and classical music, after growing up in a family of griots, African poet-singers, and becoming a talented player of the kora, the African harp. Senegalese musician, singer, and composer Momi Maiga , who has long lived in Spain, will arrive in Brianza on Sunday: he will perform at 9:30 pm in the gardens of Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno, with a concert entitled " Kairo (Peace) ". He will perform alongside Carlos Montfort on violin and vocals, Aleix Tobias on drums and percussion, and Marçal Ayats on cello and vocals.
