Energy, Eni's latest move: there is an agreement with Ares to negotiate the sale of 20% of Plenitude


Eni has signed a temporary exclusivity agreement with Ares Alternative Credit Management , a leading global investment fund, for the negotiation of a definitive agreement and the subsequent finalization of the sale of a 20% stake in Plenitude , based on an equity value of the company between 9.8 and 10.2 billion euros, corresponding to an enterprise value of over 12 billion euros. Eni announced this in a press release. The agreement, Eni explains in the note, "follows a detailed selection process among several internationally renowned entities that have expressed significant interest in the company, which thus confirms the great attractiveness of its business model and related growth prospects".
