Double-digit growth in 2024 revenues for Terme di Sirmione, a group active in the spa and hotel industry controlled by FGH, Franco Gnutti Holding, which has launched an investment plan of over 12 million in expansions of SPA & Thermal Garden. The turnover was 48.1 million (+10% on 2023) with a profit of 3.2 million net of amortization, write-downs and provisions for 3.5 million and taxes for 1.4 million. An EBITDA was 9 million euros, equal to 18.8% of revenues. The company perimeter also includes the subsidiary Golf Bogliaco which manages a historic 18-hole golf course in Toscolano Maderno, in the Brescia area, which records 1.9 million in revenues in addition to the sale of three real estate units for 2.1 million. "Terme di Sirmione continues to consolidate its growth and is committed to ambitious goals: to increasingly distinguish its performance in health by confirming a strong dialogue with industry operators such as doctors and institutions and preparing, at the same time, to face investments of over 12 million euros in expansions of SPA & Thermal Garden, with a very careful eye on the management and growth of staff so that they can adequately support the expected development - explains Cavaliere del Lavoro Giacomo Gnutti, President and CEO -. The bureaucracy and difficult logistics of the historic center of Sirmione extend the times of realization of the expansion projects, but do not stop our entrepreneurial commitment: we consider it a duty to invest for the benefit of the exceptional territory in which we are located, Sirmione and Lake Garda, which last year saw over 25 million visitors".
On the investment front, three million were spent in 2024 to support a rebranding project that involved all the group's brands: Wellness Hotels, Therapy District, SPA & Thermal Garden and Cosmetics Institute. "One source, multiple experiences: this is the meaning of the revisitation of the entire ecosystem of brands to enable cross-selling and give coherence to the thermal experience in the different forms in which it is delivered - comments Margherita De Angeli, General Manager -. Particular attention to the Cosmetics Institute, which through a dedicated organization, continues to grow by formulating products based only on thermal water and innovative molecules, distributed throughout the country through a completely renovated e-commerce and in single-brand stores". Investments were also made in customer relationship management and process optimization. The Group has over 600 thousand visitors per year, millions of unique users and multi-channel access. Investments were also made in human resources training, a heterogeneous staff with employees of 25 nationalities.
At the end of 2024, the Group launched the rebranding plan, a new visual identity for its brands that in the payoff, «The science of thermalism», which expresses the most important corporate value while in the graphics the distinctive chemical element, sulfur in the form of hydrogen sulfide. Thus, the focus is on thermalism as scientific research. medical evidence and proven therapeutic benefits of thermal water as a concrete response to the need to feel good. In short, not only the offer of thermal experiences, medical treatments, wellness places or cosmetic products, but an active, front-line commitment to scientific research to improve the health and well-being of guests. Well-being linked to the uniqueness of the naturally hot sulfurous salso-bromo-iodic hyperthermal water and its infinite applications. A single source from which multiple experiences are born, declined in the sectors in which the Group operates following the common thread of scientificity, reliability and compliance. Thus, what was once known as the Terme Virgilio, with over 400 thousand treatments provided, 13 health specializations and many specialist packages, have become the Terme di Sirmione - Therapy District dedicated to health care and with a commitment that is accentuated thanks to a program of recovery and diffusion of the thermal culture for doctors and pharmacists.
Aquaria, 200 thousand admissions per year, has become Terme di Sirmione - SPA & Thermal Garden with a focus on the strength of the elements that determine the essence of the structure today and that of tomorrow with the development plan that will redefine the concept of well-being and self-care to prevent stress and anxiety, improve breathing, strengthen the immune system, rebalance body and mind. In the hospitality area, the Group has four hotels: the 5-star Grand Hotel Terme Sirmione, the 4-star Hotel Sirmione Terme and Hotel Acquaviva del Garda, ending with the 3-star Hotel Fonte Boiola, which, in addition to hospitality, offer integrated health and thermal wellness programs under the Terme di Sirmione - Wellness Hotels brand.
