The tax authorities and the Elkann family reach an agreement regarding the tax burden on Marella Agnelli's estate.

TURIN - Siblings John, Lapo, and Ginevra Elkann have reached a comprehensive settlement with the Italian Revenue Agency regarding the tax burden arising from the inheritance of their grandmother Marella Agnelli, Gianni Agnelli's widow.
A spokesperson for the Elkanns told ANSA that "the settlement was concluded without any admission, even tacit or partial, of the validity of the initially alleged allegations." According to Il Fatto Quotidiano , which broke the news, the figure is €175 million.
Regarding a series of issues revolving around Gianni Agnelli's inheritance and the dispute between the three Elkann brothers and their mother Margherita, "discussions are underway with the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office, the outcome of which is currently unclear. Out of respect for all the bodies involved," the family's statement continues, "there are no comments to make on the proceedings, which are still ongoing."
