Heart health at 360 degrees, 5 thousand cardiologists in Rimini for the 56th Anmco Congress
Perspectives, treatments and research will be at the centre of the working sessions of the event of the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists
At the 56th National Congress of the Anmco, A ssociazione nazionale medici cardiologi ospedalieri , which will be held in Rimini from 15 to 17 May, 5 thousand specialists from all over Italy and beyond are expected. "The congress has represented for over 50 years one of the most anticipated cultural meetings for the vast world of cardiology clinical activity. During the 3 days the most recent and significant clinical, scientific and organizational innovations, matured in the cardiologies of our country, will be presented", explains the Anmco in a note that highlights how "also this year over 5 thousand hospital cardiologists have met to discuss all the major themes of prevention, treatment and research, and the innovations related to cardiovascular clinical activity".
This year the congress will be developed around the theme 'Heart Innovation - From Research to New Solutions for Best Practice', an invitation to explore how the most advanced research can translate into concrete clinical solutions to improve daily practice and patient care. "Cardiologists, researchers, young specialists and institutional figures will meet to share experiences, discuss new scientific evidence and together trace the future routes of hospital cardiology - continues the Anmco - Perspectives, treatments and research will be at the center of the work sessions that will see the greatest experts in Italian cardiology alternate for a constructive and effective comparison of original ideas and experiences, which has always been necessary to adequately respond to the complexity of a constantly evolving healthcare reality".
Among the novelties, the introduction of the International Version Congress: an entire section of the program will be dedicated to sessions in English, animated by a prestigious international faculty; a unique opportunity for professional updating, with the contribution of the major international cardiology scientific societies such as the American Heart Association (Aha), the American College of Cardiology (Acc) and the European Society of Cardiology (Esc).
The 56th Anmco Congress "will offer participants the opportunity to follow the proceedings also through an online-only mode, accessible through the multimedia platform digital.anmco.it, which in recent years has become an integral part of the congress and makes it possible to best enjoy all the contents. The new frontier of medical education will also be represented by the innovative 'AI Anmco Intelligence' system, the virtual co-moderator capable of stimulating scientific debate by generating questions and discussion points in real time".
According to Fabrizio Oliva, president of Anmco and director of Cardiology 1 at the Niguarda Hospital in Milan, "over the course of the 3 days, the results of important clinical studies on topics of considerable relevance for public health, from heart attacks to heart failure, will be presented. Results that will certainly contribute to improving clinical practice in the cardiovascular field".
"The congress - continues Oliva - will offer as always an important opportunity for updating, discussion and scientific growth to continue to build an increasingly innovative cardiology, close to the patient and in line with the highest international scientific evidence. Participating each with their own expertise means contributing to writing new pages of our discipline, maintaining strong its ability to be both proactive and a point of reference, not only for the medical profession. A great event - he concludes - that demonstrates the commitment of the Anmco in supporting the growth and training of Italian cardiologists".
