Race for the Cure, ANSA Agency in the race against breast cancer

Together against breast cancer. The ANSA press agency participates in and supports the 26th edition of the Race for the Cure, the largest event in the fight against breast cancer and in support of women with this disease in Italy and around the world. A team of employees and journalists from the main Italian agency has cut the starting ribbon for the race that, from the Bocca della Verità, will cross Rome with a single pink snake. Whether it is the 2 km walk, the 5 km run or the 10 km race reserved for competitive athletes, thousands have signed up, both individually and in teams.

From May 10th until today, the highlight of the event, at the 'Villaggio della Salute, Sport e Benessere' at Circo Massimo, on the occasion of the 26th edition of the Race for the Cure, through seven mobile units and thanks to the contribution of the Irccs Policlinico Gemelli, free visits, clinical examinations and tests for early diagnosis were offered, with particular attention to the prevention of breast cancer. It was also possible to participate in practical sessions of sport, fitness, yoga and qi-gong, meditation and correct nutrition. Four days of free medical consultations and screenings, sports, conferences and workshops for children that conclude today with the Donne in Rosa marathon.

Prevention, especially breast cancer, is the theme of the event organized by Komen Italia, which features Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Rosanna Banfi.
