Forza Italia to Calenda: "Choose the Center-Right and help us strengthen the liberal leg of the coalition"
"We hope so because we understand that with Azione there are important cultural affinities and therefore it would not be difficult to share a path together ". Raffaele Nevi, national spokesperson for Forza Italia and deputy group leader in the Chamber , interviewed by Affaritaliani.it , responds in this way to the question about a possible common path between Carlo Calenda's Azione and the Centre-right. "Unfortunately there is this genetic problem that Calenda was born with the Centre-left and has always orbited within the galaxy of that coalition, but I believe that he is realizing, being an intelligent person, that with this left you cannot build a liberal project for the country as he has in mind ". Interviewed last Friday by the director of Affaritaliani.it Marco Scotti, Calenda stated that 'Bonelli, Fratoianni and Conte in government would be a disaster', Nevi comments: " This statement is very important and significant because it shows that Calenda is fully realizing that with this left it is absolutely impossible to build any government project for Italy".

To the specific question of whether an alliance with Azione is possible not only in the next regional elections but also in the general elections, Nevi responds: " I think that there could be the conditions to make it happen . The path must be taken with the appropriate timing and with attention to the government program and the political will to reach this goal is needed.
