Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni welcomed Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Villa Pamphili , for the Italy-Greece intergovernmental summit . This is the second summit between the two countries, the previous one in 2017 in Corfu.

The talks will focus on migration, the economy, defense and security of the European Union, according to Greek government sources. Among the main issues on the international agenda, Meloni and Mitsotakis will focus in particular on the war in Ukraine and the Middle East.
