77 arrested for reselling at EDC 2025

77 people were arrested for possible ticket resale during the three days of the EDC 2025 festival, in the Iztacalco municipality .

As part of the security tasks at the event, elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security ( SSC ) carried out a surveillance device in the vicinity of the GNP stadium , in the Granjas México neighborhood .

As a result of the above, the uniformed officers located 43 men, 17 women and 17 minors who were offering possible fake tickets for sale, from whom they seized 47 tickets.

It is worth mentioning that 16 of the detainees have previous convictions for the same civic offense , and were placed at the disposal of the Civic Judge , who will determine the corresponding sanction.

Additionally, during surveillance operations at the stadium entrances and access points for EDC 2025, police officers observed two women and a man handling plastic bags similar to those used for drug distribution and who, upon noticing the police presence, tried to flee.

Meters ahead, they stopped the women and after a preventive search, the officers seized 34 plastic wrappers with marijuana muffins , 25 plastic bags with the same herb in bulk, four joints, two cell phones and cash.
