Between today and tomorrow, profiles will be defined in IJCF and Victim Assistance
Following the meeting held this Monday between the government of Jalisco and the groups of families searching for their missing victims , it was announced that between this afternoon and tomorrow morning, the profiles that will occupy the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences (IJCF) and the Executive Commission for Attention to Victims will be defined.
This was announced by the Chief of Staff, Alberto Esquer , who said that the candidates will be chosen from the shortlists based on the interviews conducted with the profiles, the analyses of the same, and the proposals offered by the groups.
"The results of the Social Participation Committee (SPC) of all the interviews that were held were delivered to Governor (Pablo) Lemus . He was given what the groups voted on last Friday and Governor Lemus reminded them that this afternoon, tomorrow morning, he will be making the final appointments," said Esquer .
The above means that the profiles will be chosen by the State Governor , based on what has already been mentioned.
"We have not even been in this administration for 90 days. We have had 14 meetings with the groups. There are already five working groups set up, including the security group, the legislative group, the transversal group, and the social assistance group. The bill is already in Congress in committee to declare the groups as vulnerable groups and thus facilitate the programs. The budget is already in each of the departments. I think we have made a lot of progress. All that is missing is the governor's decision ," said the chief of staff.
He recalled that it has been an exhaustive and complete process, which has included the CPS with the interviews, in addition to the review of resumes in the National System for the Integral Development of the Family ( DIF) , in the General Secretariat of Government , in the Cabinet Office , in the Secretariat of Planning and Citizen Participation .
"We have been extremely open to the process and what we want is the best profile to lead these two departments ," he insisted.
For the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences, Carlos Barba, Alejandro Axel and Mario Aguayo are on the list, while for the Executive Commission for Victim Assistance , Francelia Hernández and Juan Carlos Benítez are on the list.
