Jimena Pérez returns to Ventaneando after a driver's heart monitor is being monitored.

The return of Jimena Pérez, better known as "La Choco," took Ventaneando viewers by surprise this Wednesday, May 7, when she appeared on screen in place of Linet Puente. Her participation marked an emotional reunion with the audience and the program's crew after her long stay in Spain.

Although Linet Puente's absence had caused concern, attention quickly shifted to the return of "La Choco," who was enthusiastically received by the program's fans. Just like in the old days, she joined Pedro Sola, Ricardo Manjarrez, and Rosario Murrieta to present the day's news, even using her partner's traditional intermissions.

The Ventaneando production team also took advantage of her return to include her in promotional materials, such as the red carpet announcement for the telenovela Cautiva por amor, alongside Pedro Sola. On social media, fans celebrated La Choco's return with comments like:

“Bring Jimena back, the show needs that spark,” “That Choco is what the show is missing,” “It’s great that Choco is here, but… how will Linet continue?”

Linet Puente, for her part, alarmed viewers last Tuesday, May 6, when she appeared live wearing a Holter (heart monitor) on her chest. The host explained that her doctor recommended this test after suffering from episodes of low blood pressure. One of these incidents, she said, occurred while she was bathing her son: "I couldn't speak. I knew exactly what I wanted to say, but the words wouldn't come out."

Although some rumors suggested she was in poor health, Linet was recently seen at a Mother's Day event, looking calm and smiling. So far, it has not been confirmed whether her absence will be extended or whether "La Choco" will remain on the show indefinitely.
