More than 2,000 teachers celebrated in Monclova

They enjoyed lunch, live music, and a raffle at an event organized by municipal authorities.

MONCLOVA, COAH.- In the framework of Teachers' Day, Mayor Carlos Villarreal led a moving celebration in honor of more than 2,000 teachers from Monclova , recognizing their daily dedication to educating the next generation. The celebration was organized by the Municipal Government, in an atmosphere of joy, unity, and profound gratitude for those who perform an essential role in society.

During the event, which brought together teachers from all educational levels, attendees enjoyed lunch, live music, and raffles, in an event designed to thank those who dedicate their lives to teaching, guiding, and inspiring the children and youth of Moncloa.

In his message, Mayor Carlos Villarreal expressed his admiration and gratitude for the local teaching profession: “Teachers, your work goes beyond imparting knowledge. You inspire, build character, and leave a lifelong mark. Thank you for every class, every piece of advice, and every silent effort that transforms the lives of our children and strengthens our city. With your dedication, you are building a better Monclova,” he stated.

Mayor Carlos Villarreal met with more than 2,000 teachers during the Teachers' Day celebration in Monclova.

The mayor emphasized that since the beginning of his administration, actions have been implemented to improve the school environment, such as paving streets, cleaning programs, maintaining educational spaces, providing support, and strengthening security around schools.

The ceremony was also attended by Undersecretary of Government Sergio Sisbeles Alvarado; the Coordinator of Improvement Monclova, Esra Cavazos; the Secretary of the City Council, José Alberto Medina; Abraham Segundo González, Director of Educational Services in the Central Region; members of the City Council; and representatives of the education sector, who reiterated their support for the teachers.

The Municipal Government reaffirmed its commitment to continue working as a team with Governor Manolo Jiménez, convinced that a city committed to education is committed to its present and future development.
