Ouigo again increases the discount on the Government's Summer Youth program to 60%.

Ouigo , the low-cost rail operator, has once again offered a 10% discount in addition to the 50% reduction approved by the government on high-speed tickets for young people this summer, bringing the total discount to 60%.

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility's "Verano Joven" program offers a 50% discount on high-speed Renfe, Ouigo, and Iryo tickets for young people between 18 and 30 years old, with a limit of 30 euros per ticket.

As it did last year, Ouigo will once again offer an additional 10% discount, increasing the discount to 60%. The company will also offer a 50% discount on each ticket purchased through the Verano Joven program.

When purchasing their ticket on the Ouigo website or app, users must enter the code received from the Ministry in the "Discount Card" section to apply the 60% discount directly.

Upon purchase, travelers will receive a 50% discount coupon for tickets for travel dates between October 1 and December 4. This discount is personal and non-transferable.

"This initiative reflects Ouigo's ongoing commitment to making high-speed rail accessible to all, especially young people. Therefore, the company offers fares starting at €9 for the general public, a flat rate of €7 for children between the ages of 4 and 13, and free travel for children under 3 traveling in the lap of an adult," the company notes.
