Police rescue a young man who attempted suicide in Saltillo.

A 19-year-old woman attempted suicide by taking a large amount of prescription drugs . However, thanks to her early detection and the assistance of Municipal Police officers, a tragedy was averted.

The incident occurred in the Nuevo Mirasierra neighborhood , where Municipal Police officers were intercepted by a group of residents from Correcaminos Street, who asked them for help in caring for the young woman.

Officers immediately went to the home, where the young woman's mother reported that she had found her unconscious in her bedroom, next to an empty bottle of prescription medication. Faced with the situation, she went to seek help from neighbors, who in turn alerted the authorities.

The officers acted quickly and transported the young woman in their patrol car to the Red Cross facilities, where she was admitted and promptly treated, ultimately saving her life. Thanks to the prompt intervention of the uniformed officers and Red Cross medical personnel, a tragedy was averted. The young woman remains under psychological supervision to address the causes that led to this situation and prevent a repeat attempt.
