Quintana Roo calls for integration into state security forces

Julio César Gómez Torres, Secretary of Citizen Security of Quintana Roo, announced that the recruitment process for those wishing to join the State Police is still open. Full details of the process and the requirements for participation can be found on the Citizen Security Secretariat's social media channels.

The official emphasized that the net monthly salary offered is 22,475 pesos, in addition to life insurance of up to two and a half million pesos, medical care, housing, and benefits exceeding those required by law. There is also the opportunity to join the Professional Police Career Service, which allows officers to develop and advance professionally.

Among the benefits offered by the corporation are an above-average salary, ISSSTE health and housing benefits, and the guarantee of ongoing professional development through courses and training.

Gómez Torres invited all interested parties to call 998 109 3261, 983 210 6271, 983 212 1711, and 983 125 6687 for more information and to answer questions about the process. He also emphasized that the application process is open not only to the State Police, but also to the 11 municipal police forces located throughout the state.

The secretary also reported that the University of Security Sciences and Disciplines of the Secretariat of Citizen Security has opened pre-registration for two bachelor's degrees: Citizen Security and Peacebuilding and Criminology and Criminal Policy. Both programs will begin classes on September 1st, with locations in Chetumal and Cancún.
