Security operations are being reinforced in priority neighborhoods of Ramos Arizpe.

In line with the state security strategy, the Ramos Arizpe Municipal Government intensified surveillance operations in various neighborhoods in the municipality, with the participation of state and municipal authorities.

The operation was deployed by members of the Public Security Directorate in coordination with the Southeast Coahuila Reaction Group and the State Police, with the goal of strengthening police presence in areas considered priority due to their crime rate or population density.

Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino emphasized the importance of maintaining safe environments as a foundation for the municipality's economic development.

“Through social tranquility, we can work more comfortably on economic development. Security is essential to attracting investment and creating jobs ,” he stated.

For his part, the director of Municipal Public Security, Rolando Álvarez Flores, reported that the patrols will continue during the week and will have the support of elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), National Guard and Secretariat of the Navy .

"We will continue working in coordination with state and federal security forces to ensure the peace and safety of our citizens," said Álvarez Flores.

These actions are part of the security strategy implemented by the State Government, led by Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas , and seek to strengthen citizen confidence and prevent criminal acts.
