The América women's team is back in the final.

América defeated Chivas 2-0 yesterday and became the first team to reach the Liga MX Femenil Clausura 2025 final.
Kiana Palacios and Monserrat Saldívar scored for the Águilas, who won 4-2 on aggregate and will play their sixth league final against the winner of the defending champions Rayadas de Monterrey and Tuzas de Pachuca.
Both teams missed opportunities in the first 45 minutes. Sabrina Enciso came close to putting the Águilas ahead in the 29th minute, when goalkeeper Celeste Espino saved the Guadalajara team.
In the 38th minute, Alicia Cervantes advanced into the box to put Chivas ahead, but Enciso arrived at the last minute to keep the match tied.
It was in the first half's added time that América took advantage of a mistake by the opposing defense and took the lead with a left-footed goal from Kiana Palacios.
América extended its lead in the 48th minute with a tip-in from Saldívar, who secured his team a place in the final for the third time in the last four championships.
The Azulcremas' opponent will be the winner of the Pachuca-Monterrey series.
In the first leg, the Rayadas took a 1-0 victory at home with a goal from Dutch player Merel Van Dongen.
The return leg will be played today, with the home side having to win to reach the final.
