Will Trump start a world war? Leaked audio of him threatening to bomb these countries

The American television network CNN presented a leaked audio where the president of the United States, Donald Trump , supposedly threatened two leaders, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, to bomb their two corresponding capitals, Moscow and Beijing.

These latest statements caused a stir among internet users and American citizens, due to a possible armed conflict between powers, given the global tension following the recent attack on Iran.

A new book called "2024: How Trump Won the White House and the Democrats Lost America" ​​reveals that the US president threatened Putin if he attacked Ukraine. This conversation took place during a private donor meeting in 2024.

“I told Putin that if they entered Ukraine, I would bomb Moscow. I told them I have no other choice. And he replied: I don't believe you. He said: No way... and I said: Fine! And then he replied: I don't believe you. But the truth is, he believed me 10%. I told you this, he believed me 10%,” the president said.

The audio shown on national television also shows President Trump 's similar threat to Chinese President Xi Jinping over ongoing military pressure on Taiwan.

“Then I was with President Xi of China. I told them the same thing: If you enter Taiwan, I will bomb Beijing. He thought I was crazy and said, ‘Beijing? You’re going to bomb…’ I said I have no choice. I have to bomb you. We’re going to bomb Beijing. And he didn’t believe me either; he said 10%. And 10% is all you need. In fact, 5% would have been fine, too,” he declared.

The alarming statements were made during Trump's presidential campaign last year and were obtained by the book's authors Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager, and Isaac Arnsdorf. The veracity of the leaked audio is currently being questioned.
