An airline announced increases in its frequencies between Argentina and the United States.

An American airline announced it will increase its flight frequencies between the United States and Argentina for the upcoming summer season. With this decision, American Airlines strengthens its presence in the country and consolidates its position as the largest North American airline in the Argentine market.

According to company sources, the increase in flights will primarily affect the Buenos Aires-Miami route, with the return of daily daytime service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza) . This additional frequency will be operational from December 3, 2025, to February 12, 2026.

In the initial phase, between December 3 and 16, three weekly daytime flights will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. These flights will be operated on Boeing 777-200 aircraft with capacity for 272 passengers. Then, starting on December 17 and continuing until the end of the summer season, the service will become daily and will use Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which have 234 seats.

The airline announced that it will have record operations at Ezeiza International Airport next summer. Between December 2025 and February 2026, American Airlines will offer up to 42 weekly flights from three of its main hubs: Miami , New York (JFK) , and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) .

During this period, passengers will have four daily flights to Miami , one daily to New York , and one daily to Dallas . This will represent a 7.3% increase in seat capacity compared to the same season in 2024-2025.

Gonzalo Schames , Chief Operating Officer for South America and Strategic Alliances at American Airlines , highlighted the value of this expansion. “As part of our record-breaking summer schedule in Argentina, we are excited to resume a customer-favorite flight, our daytime service between Buenos Aires and Miami,” he said.

Schames also highlighted the airline's long history in the country. "We are proud to further strengthen our footprint in Argentina as the largest U.S. airline in the country, and to do so in this historic year as we celebrate 35 years in Argentina," he added.

This increase in frequencies not only benefits those traveling for leisure or business, but also strengthens connectivity between Argentina and the United States . In a context of air traffic recovery following the pandemic, the expansion decisions of international airlines such as American Airlines are key to reactivating the sector's activity and boosting inbound tourism.

The announcement is part of a broader trend of growing air operations in the region. This anticipates a summer season with high demand and multiple international connectivity options from Buenos Aires .

American Airlines will increase its service between the United States and Argentina by summer 2026, with four daily flights to Miami and more options from Buenos Aires.
