This is Hirokata Saito, a successful 54-year-old Japanese businessman who was going through a period of acute depression, from which he managed to emerge thanks to finding solace in his pet Angie, a mixed-breed dog rescued from the streets, which, in his words, helped him get rid of intrusive thoughts and gave him back his desire to live .
