Southeast of the French Riviera and about 80 kilometers off the coast of Italy, we find the most unknown island in the Mediterranean: Corsica. All have white sand and are ideal for swimming or water activities such as snorkeling or diving due to the excellent water temperature throughout most of the year. 1. Arone Beach in Porto Bay

In the Porto area, the beaches are pebbly and lined with eucalyptus trees, which is why it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a few kilometers away, we find Arone Beach, one of Corsica's most beautiful beaches, immersed in a wild natural setting. It boasts a long stretch of fine sand and unspoiled vegetation.

To reach this heavenly destination, you can access it along the west coast via a path that offers panoramic views of the cliffs of the Calanques de Piana , which plunge into the sea. It's an ideal destination for various water sports.

2. Palombaggia Beach in Porto-Vecchio

A popular beach thanks to its beautiful landscapes, it 's often crowded with tourists in summer . It's characterized by its clear, shallow waters, surrounded by white sand and red rocks , making it an ideal family destination. Along its length, you'll find many restaurant options for a delicious meal, as well as the option to rent umbrellas, sun loungers, and vehicles for water sports.

3. Roccapina Beach

It's a paradise of fine white sand located below the Lions of Roccapina and the Genoa Tower. Its shallow, clear waters are ideal for children. During peak seasons, such as summer, it's very popular. Snorkeling is recommended as part of your visit to this beach. It can be accessed from Sartene via the N196 road toward Bonifacio. Parking is easy.

4. Santa Giulia Beach in Porto-Vecchio

Stretching for 2 kilometers, this is one of the wonderful beaches in southern Corsica, reminiscent of the Caribbean with its translucent hues. It's an ideal spot for little ones, as its waters are very calm and shallow. It also has a good restaurant infrastructure.

To visit it, it is best to arrive through the northern entrance from Porto Vecchio on the N198 highway towards Bonifacio and then, after 3.5 kilometers, head towards Bocca di I'Oru.

5. Tamaruccio Beach

Representing one of Corsica's most beautiful beaches, it is located south of Palombaggia Beach, separated from it by a rocky outcrop. It has fine, white sand and shallow waters. To reach it, take the N198 road south of Porto Vecchio, through a large roundabout, toward Bonifacio. After 1.6 kilometers, take the Bocca di I'Oru road.
