If there's one dish synonymous with versatility, it's undoubtedly pizza. The concept behind this dish has evolved to the point where options are no longer limited to savory ingredients, but also sweet ones.

This is the case of a restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), which has taken this idea to a new level. The establishment, known as Dulce Mari, has made a name for itself in the region by baking a pizza that is intended to become a dessert.
Each slice is made with a creamy cheesecake base and topped with sweet toppings. Hence, you can find combinations like white Twix, lemon and pistachio, dulce de leche, Kinder Bueno, and other versions that are released weekly.

But the inventions don't stop there. Dulce Mari's display case also features other culinary delights, such as the mini Dubai Chocolate cheesecakes and Cubanitos.
Another of their strong points in baking are their cookies, as they combine two key factors: aesthetics and flavor. To achieve this, they use unusual ingredients and play with flavors and decorations.
What makes this bakery unique, besides its authentic offering, is that it's only open Wednesday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., so anyone who arrives late might not get a slice of pizza or cookies.
