Dutch economy growing faster than expected: 'Positive surprise'

The investment category was a negative outlier. This was partly due to previous large expenditures on ships and aircraft, among other things, but also because less money was flowing into construction.
"One thing the parties agreed on during the election campaign was that more construction is needed. Less investment won't help, because then more will have to be built," says Van Mulligen, who says the business community would primarily benefit from a quick cabinet formation.
