30,000 for neighborhood initiatives in Dąbie

The Municipal Cultural Center in Dąbie is announcing a competition for grassroots neighborhood cultural initiatives titled "Culture of Friendship." Funding for the projects is PLN 30,000.

– The first stage of the project was a diagnosis of the local community – we asked about what events the surveyed people had participated in so far, what activities or events they missed in Dąbie, and even when they had the most time to devote to participating in an event – explain the organizers.

It's time for the second phase of the project. The Municipal Cultural Center has just announced a competition for grassroots neighborhood cultural initiatives titled "Culture of Friendship." The pool of funds for implementing ideas is PLN 30,000. The deadline for submitting ideas is Thursday, July 24th. The Municipal Cultural Center encourages residents of Szczecin's right-bank district to submit ideas that address their needs and that they would like to implement with the support of the Municipal Cultural Center.

The application period will be open until 12:00 noon on July 24th. Results will be announced the following day – on Friday, July 25th. Applications are accepted only on forms prepared by the Municipal Cultural Centre – they must be submitted to the Municipal Cultural Centre's office in physical form or as a scan and emailed to [email protected]. Individuals, informal groups, and non-governmental organizations are eligible to apply. Only one idea per person/group/entity may be submitted.

Within the available pool of funds, three to seven initiatives can be implemented. There is no minimum or maximum project value, but the competition organizers aim to allocate the funds as rationally as possible.

The selection of initiatives will be made jointly – all applicants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the remaining projects at a meeting on July 25 at 5 p.m. at the Delta Club.

Projects should be implemented between August 11 and November 14, 2025. This deadline cannot be extended. Initiatives should be targeted at residents of the Dąbie housing estate and implemented within its premises or in its immediate vicinity. The Municipal Cultural Center and its branch, the Delta Club, are available for participation.
