Attention drivers and residents! Road closures will be in place.

On Sunday, July 13th, the Zawonia commune will host the Grand Prix Elmar Gravel Race, an amateur cycling race. The event will cause temporary road closures in several towns and traffic disruptions, most notably for residents of Trzęsowice.

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be significant traffic disruptions in the areas of Czeszów, Złotów, Trzęsowice, and Młyny Złotowskie. This is due to the Grand Prix Elmar Gravel Race for the Zawonia Commune Mayor's Cup, an amateur cycling race held as part of the VeloBank Via Dolny Śląsk series.

The most significant changes will affect the town of Trzęsowice, where the route will be completely closed for five hours. Access to this town will be possible only from Złotów, and only in accordance with general traffic regulations.

For the purposes of the race, the following road sections will be temporarily closed to traffic:

- Trzebnicka Street (DP 1454D) in Czeszów from the intersection with Sosnowa Street to Milicka Street and a section of Milicka Street to the intersection with Złotowska Street,

- Zawońska Street and DP 1371D up to the forest intersection in the area of ​​Młyny Złotowskie,

- Złotowska Street (DP 1333D) in Czeszów to the municipal road in Trzęsowice,

- municipal road from Trzęsowice to the forest towards Młyny Złotowskie.

Therefore, detours for transit were introduced in the southeast-north direction.

For drivers heading from the north to Złotów : a recommended detour is via Sosnowa, Leśna and Konopnicka streets in Czeszów, then Milicka Street and road no. 1454D to Kubryk. From there, take the connecting road to DP 1453D to Złotów.

For vehicles from the southeast (from Złotów) to Czeszów : DP 1453D to the connector to district road 1454D in Kubryki. Then, take DP 1333D to Czeszów – Milicka, Konopnicka, Leśna, and Sosnowa streets. It ends at the junction of Sosnowa Street with Trzebnicka Street in Czeszów.

For those driving from the south (from Zawonia) to Czeszów : The detour route starts at the intersection of DP1371DP with the municipal road to Pęciszów and then runs along district road no. 1335D to Kuźniczysko and further to Czeszów.

For vehicles coming from the north (from Kuźniczysko) to Zawonia : turn off the district road 1454D onto the road 1335D towards Pęciszów and continue along the municipal road to the road 1371D and towards Zawonia.

The organizers appeal for caution and compliance with the temporary traffic organization.
