Bogusław Chrabota: Trump's Golden Cards
“They are very nice people,” said Donald Trump about Russian oligarchs while promoting a new immigration program to the US: “golden” cards for millionaires. The program is to replace the current visa policy for the rich and reduce the conditions for legalizing residence overseas to a deposit of $5 million. Where this money comes from, from what sources, is not really important, because in the case of the most disgusting kleptocracies – and Russia is one of them – all money is legal if it has the Kremlin stamp. And it is not hard to get one, even if the only source of financing fortunes was putting the barrel of a gun to the forehead of others. “Nice people,” says Donald Trump. If this is a joke, it is rather weak. If the US president said these words seriously, it mainly shows his contacts.
