Breakthrough on Ukrainian Minerals. Trump: I Will Meet with Zelensky

- I will meet with Volodymyr Zelensky to sign a minerals agreement - US President Donald Trump announced on Monday. The two leaders held a conversation that same day.

The president, who meets with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron at the White House on Monday, said the minerals agreement that Washington had been demanding from Kiev was "very close."

According to Trump, Zelensky could come to the White House "this week or next" to sign them.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had a " good conversation" with US President Donald Trump and expressed hope that the United States would continue to support Kiev.
