Celebration of the Opole District Prison Service Day in Trzebnica

A special event took place at the basilica in Trzebnica – the celebration of the Opole District Prison Service Day. This day falls on June 29th, the feast day of St. Paul, the service's patron saint. The ceremony was attended by the general and district directors of the Opole District, representatives of penitentiary institutions, and invited guests. The presence of a guard of honor and banner guards added to the splendor of the celebrations.
[middle1]On Tuesday, July 8, the Opole District Prison Service Day celebrations took place in Trzebnica. This district encompasses parts of the Opole Voivodeship and the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The district includes detention centers in Opole, Dzierżoniów, Jelenia Góra, Wrocław, and Świdnica, as well as prisons in Brzeg, Nysa, Kłodzko, Strzelin, Wołów, Wrocław, Zaręba, Głogów, and Głubczyce. The event was organized by the Wołów Prison and the Wrocław Detention Center.
