Councillors have adopted the highest motivational allowance threshold for teachers in the region

During the last session of the Jarosław district council, councilors adopted new regulations for teachers' salaries. The changes will translate into higher rates, which is certainly good news for educational environments.

The most important change seems to be the introduction of the highest motivational supplement threshold for teachers in the region, which is 50 percent (previously it was 40 percent). The maximum percentage of functional supplements for directors, deputy directors and heads of practical education has also been increased by 5 percent. As for teachers performing additional functions, the supplement for an internship supervisor or mentor has increased to PLN 150 (previously it was PLN 100), a class teacher will receive a supplement of PLN 300, and a methodological advisor - PLN 400. For teachers working in difficult conditions, support has been provided in the amount of, for example, 10 percent of the supplement for individual teaching of students with a certificate or PLN 120 for difficult conditions.

Thanks to the adopted changes, teachers and principals with outstanding teaching achievements can now count on awards of up to PLN 6,000 gross from the governing body (previously PLN 3,500 gross). As for awards for teachers granted by the management, the rates have increased to PLN 4,000 gross.

The changes introduced regarding education finances were adopted by a majority vote.
